    When you feel distressed or upset about something it can be very hard to talk to people around you. If you cannot talk to your friends or family, there are a number of organisations trained to help you when you feel this way, they will support you and talk you through your distress

  • I HAVE HURT MYSELF

It is important that you seek help.
If it is an emergency please call 999 or go to your nearest A&E (Accident and Emergency).
If it is not an emergency you can call NHS 111 or if you feel you can look after your injury, use clean dressings.

 

  • I THINK I AM GOING TO HURT MYSELF

If you are having suicidal thoughts it may be difficult to cope with these feelings by yourself. If you are in immediate danger of taking your life please

Talk to your GP
Call 999 or go to your nearest A&E
Or call the Crisis Home Treatment Team if you have one

If you are not in immediate danger but are frightened by your thoughts, there are many people trained to listen and support you
